  • Quarter 3 missing / incomplete assignments are due before leaving on Thursday, March 7th.  After Thursday, all missing / incomplete assignments will turn into an F. Grades will be turned into the office after spring break and ineligibility will begin on Tuesday, March 19th. 

 

  • Coach Barnett will be meeting with all Junior High boys and girls planning to go out for track on Thursday, February 29th at noon in the library.  Grab your tray first and then go to the library. 

 

  • Mr. Petersen will be having a preseason golf meeting on Friday, March 1st at 7:45 a.m. in Mrs. Fenneman’s room for all students planning to go out for golf. 

 

  • JH Wrestlers - please get your singlets turned in as soon as possible. 

 

  • Booster Club / KJ’s  Track shirt order.  Orders and payment are due online. The orders are due on Wednesday, February 28th.

  • The Clarksville Public Library is looking for helpers for Literacy Night on Thursday, February 29th from 6:00-7:00 pm (please arrive by 5:45 pm) at the library. (this year is a Space theme, so if you have a green shirt, please wear it!) This is a great opportunity to earn silver cord hours!  If interested, please contact Kris Clark at the Library clarksvillelib@butler-bremer.com or 319-278-1168.

 

  • The Allison Pool has lifeguard positions available.  Lifeguard pay is $11 per hour and head guard pay is $12 per hour.  Mrs. Backer has applications available at the office for anyone interested. 

 

  • Reminder Students - when entering the parking lot doors, please make sure your hoods / hats are off and down so that the office staff can see who they are letting in the building.

Information for Seniors:

  • The sign-up sheet has been posted at the office for graduation flowers (yellow rose w/ribbon).  These are the flowers that are handed out to family members after you receive your diploma. I'm not sure of the exact cost yet.  They've been around $5 the past few years. Sign up before March 22nd. Payment will be due in May. 

  • CPR certification is scheduled for Friday, April 12th.  This is mandatory for graduation.  If you have already taken the course and are certified, please bring a copy of your information in with the completion date. More information will be announced soon. 

  • Reminder - YOU must check in and out every day when you leave / return from Senior Release either through SmartPass or on the clipboard at the office. 

 

Miscellaneous Information:

  • Mrs. Fenneman will be in charge of Technology this year.  She will be available 2nd period or you may email her with any questions and/or concerns.

  • JH/HS students will be allowed to purchase "wearing a hat for a day" with two C-notes. C-notes need to be given to the office prior to school starting (by 8:07) and hats must be appropriate and APPROVED for wear. 

  • Reminder – doors do not unlock and breakfast does not begin until 7:45 a.m. Students should not be arriving before that time.

  • Students should not be in the building before 7:45 a.m.  If you are here for weight lifting, you need to stay in the gym area until breakfast is served at 7:45 a.m. not running around the building unsupervised. 

  • When doors are unlocked for substitutes - students should not be in the classroom unsupervised.  

  • Students should not be in classrooms without a staff member unless you are given permission from that teacher. 

  • Reminder – on Wednesday early outs, all students are to leave the building.  No one is allowed to stay in the gym unsupervised or in any other part of the building.  Students will not be allowed back in the building for practices until 3:20 p.m.  

  • Students on the ineligibility list should pick up the form (on table outside the office) once grades are brought up to become eligible again. These need to be signed off by your teacher and turned into the office.
